Pam Hobbs passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) exam in new construction to become a LEED Accredited Professional through the United States Green Building Council in June 2009. As a business developer for our Collinsville and St. Louis markets, Pam believes it’s important to identify how we can assist our clients with major movements in the AEC industry, such as what it takes to design, construct and operate a high performance green building. To understand our client’s responsibilities when they commit to the pursuit of LEED certification and how our firm fits into the LEED process, Pam wanted to gain the knowledge and a true understanding of the LEED program, practices and principles. Pam has over 15 years of experience in the industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (UMR.) She is former president and an active member of The Engineers’ Club of St. Louis, a committee member for both the Southern Illinois Builder’s Association (SIBA) and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)-Illinois, a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA) St. Louis and District 8 Branches, Progress 64 West, St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers (SLCCC,) Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW,) the Miner Alumni Association Century Club at Missouri S&T, and a graduate of Leadership O’Fallon.
