Geotechnology Up to Speed with Missouri’s OSHA 10-Hour Training Requirement

On August 29, 2009 the State of Missouri mandated that all on-site employees of contractors and subcontractors working on State and locally funded public works construction projects must complete the 10-Hour, OSHA construction safety course. Geotechnology promptly began conducted training sessions in August 2009 to ensure the staff who perform field services comply with this requirement and to emphasize existing knowledge about identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with site work. Corporate Health and Safety Officer Joe Darmody, an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer in the Construction Industry, has trained over 60 Geotechnology employees in the 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Course including the majority of our field staff as well as project engineers and project managers. Training continues for all incoming staff.
