Construction Materials, Soils Testing and More:
The vast majority of Keith’s forty year’s experience is in the field of materials testing, including laboratory and field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, steel and roofing materials. His Special Inspections capabilities involve the following: Drilled shaft, auger cast and driven piles review; Review of foundation bearing surfaces; Review of seismic resistance connections; Review of reinforcing steel and placement of cast-in-place concrete; Review of general masonry construction and masonry reinforcing steel; and Spray-applied fireproofing review and testing.
Keith’s Education and Certifications:
Keith attended the University of Kentucky and has numerous certifications. These certifications include National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies Level I Asphalt, and Levels II Concrete and Soils; Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Level I Grading Technician; Kentucky Ready Mixed Concrete Association Level II Concrete Technician; and American Concrete Institute Field Testing Technician – Grade I.
Currently, Keith oversees the materials testing and soil mechanics laboratories in the Kentucky and Ohio offices.
