Sheryl’s responsibilities as Geotechnical Group Manager for the Overland Park office have included analysis of subsurface site conditions, evaluation of soil and rock properties, providing recommendations for the design of shallow and deep foundations, supervision of field and laboratory investigation programs, and providing engineering support for construction projects. Sheryl has experience in a variety of projects involving levees, dams and power plants among others.

Sheryl is also responsible for the Drilling Group and coordinates all aspects of drilling operations out of the Overland Park office.

Ms. Gallagher received the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as the 2010/2011 Professional Woman of the Year. NAPW Board of Directors selected Sheryl for her outstanding leadership and commitment to her profession. Sheryl received her Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Kansas – Lawrence and her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
