Branch Manager — Erlanger
Experienced Geotechnical Engineer:
Mr. Vogelpohl joins Geotechnology as part of the acquisition of Thelen Associates in 2015 and is the Branch Manager of the Erlanger office. Mr. Vogelpohl joined Thelen Associates, Inc. in 1985 and has been the Vice President of Engineering and Principal Geotechnical Engineer for sixteen years.
Geotechnical & Project Engineering:
Ted has over 35 years of experience in a wide variety of civil and geotechnical engineering design and construction projects, including major sanitary sewer and water transmission mains, tunnels, pump stations, storage tanks, wastewater treatment plants, landslide stabilizations, bridges, airport runways, deep tied-back excavations and sports stadiums. His project involvement ranges from project engineering to project management and Principal-In-Charge. Presently, he has technical responsibility for the full range of the firm’s geotechnical projects, as well as project budget management, review of staff tasks, proposal preparation and building client relationships.
Professional Engineering Associations:
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. He earned his BA in Physics from Thomas More College, his BSCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and his MSCE in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Ted is a member of the following organizations: American Society of Civil Engineers, Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers and Deep Foundations Institute.
