On Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. till noon, Geotechnology will welcome speakers and attendees for a seminar addressing the seismic design requirements of the International Building Code (IBC) in best practice design. The seminar will be held at Geotechnology’s headquarters in Maryland Heights and is hosted by the New Madrid Chapter of EERI, the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute. Associated organizations included the St. Louis Section of AEG (Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists,) the St. Louis Post of SAME (Society of American Military Engineers) and SEAKM (Structural Engineers of Kansas and Missouri.)
