Dr. Torgashov leads the Geophysical Group and oversees all geophysical data interpretation. He has expertise in a wide range of geophysical applications in geotechnical and hydrogeological projects using geophysical methods: 2D and 3D land electrical resistivity, induced polarization (IP), self-potential (SP), ground penetrating radar (GPR), surface wave methods, electromagnetic, magnetic, refraction seismic, sub-bottom profiler, and side-scan sonar.
Eugene Torgashov’s Background
Eugene has over 14 years of experience, having participated in over 200 geophysical projects. He received his Ph.D. in Geological Engineering in 2012 from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Undergraduate studies include: M.A. for Geological Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (2012), M.S. for Geophysics from Perm State University (2009) in Russia, and B.S. in Geology and Geophysics from Perm State University (2006).
