As Vice President and Quality Manager, Ted Vogelpohl is responsible for overseeing the quality and consistency of work practices and deliverables throughout the company. This includes identifying and prioritizing specific areas for improvement such as technical skills, writing, standard paragraphs, best practices, etc.
Ted Vogelpohl’s Background
For over thirty years, Ted was a leader and valuable mentor to his team. His knowledge and experience is evident in a wide variety of civil and geotechnical engineering design and construction projects. These projects include major sanitary sewer and water transmission mains, tunnels, pump stations and storage tanks. Additionally, Ted has experience with wastewater treatment plants, landslide stabilizations, bridges, deep tied-back excavations, airport runways and facilities, and sports stadiums. Ted’s project involvement ranges from project engineering to project management and Principal-In-Charge.
Ted obtained his Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Additionally, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and also a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Thomas More College.
Ted is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the states of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. In addition, he has professional memberships to the American Society of Civil Engineers, Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers, and Deep Foundations Institute.
