Geotechnology Promotes Two to Executive Positions

J_Darmody_sized for websiteSt. Louis, MO (November 11, 2014) – Geotechnology, Inc., a leading provider of geotechnical and environmental engineering, geophysics, water resource management, construction materials testing, and drilling services, announced today the promotions of Michael Roark and Joe Darmody to executive management positions in the company.

Joe Darmody, previously Geotechnology’s Environmental Group Manager, will move into the newly-created position of Corporate Risk Manager for the company. In his new role, Darmody will work with all of the Geotechnology offices and employees on safety and risk management. He will be based out of the St. Louis office. Darmody, who has been with the company since 2006, has a Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene.

Mike Roark2 for webMichael Roark, a registered Geologist, will assume the management of the firm’s Environmental Group. He succeeds Joe Darmody in the position. Roark, a fifteen-year veteran at Geotechnology will oversee the firm’s sixteen-person Environmental group. He most recently served as a senior project manager on the environmental side of the business. He has a Master’s degree in Geophysics.

Ibrawish Promoted to Geotechnology Senior Staff Engineer

(February 24, 2015) – Geotechnology Inc., a leading provider of geotechnical and environmental engineering, materials testing, geophysics, water resource management, and drilling services, announced that Mohamad “Mo” Ibrawish, P.E., has been promoted to Senior Staff Engineer in the company’s Kansas City office.

Ibrawish joined Geotechnology as a project engineer in 2012, and has 12 years of experience working in the industry.

A licensed engineer in Missouri and Kansas, Ibrawish is an active member of the Kansas City chapters of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Ibrawish earned a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001.

Geotechnology Announces Human Resources Changes

St. Louis, Mo. (March 10, 2015)Geotechnology, Inc., a leading provider of geotechnical and environmental engineering, geophysics, materials testing, water resource management, and drilling services, has promoted Bailey Cody to the position of Human Resources Manager.

The company also announced that Karen Kunzelmann is retiring as its Director of Human Resources. Kunzelmann has been with Geotechnology for more than 10 years, and will continue to work with the company as a consultant.

Cody joined Geotechnology in 2012 as an intern, and became the company’s Human Resources Generalist in 2014. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Lindenwood University, and is pursuing her master’s degree in business administration, with an expected completion date of July 2015.
