St. Louis, MO (August 2, 2013) – Geotechnology, Inc., a leading provider of geotechnical and environmental engineering, geophysics, water resource management, materials testing, and drilling services, announced today that it has purchased substantially all of the operating assets of Environmental Operations of Illinois, LLC (EOI-Illinois), formerly Shively Engineering.
Located in Fairview Heights, Illinois, the firm provided geotechnical engineering and materials testing services. The newly expanded Geotechnology will now offer customers additional services such as drilling and geophysical capabilities. With the move, Geotechnology is merging its existing Collinsville, IL branch staff and capabilities with the entire staff, as well as equipment and services of the Fairview Heights location. As a result, clients will continue to receive the excellent service they have become accustomed to with the benefit of additional resources and capabilities.
