Matt McQuality

Matt H. McQuality, PE, has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Overland Park, Kansas office of Geotechnology, Inc. “Matt has been with Geotechnology since 1998 and he has performed at a high level in every assignment. He began his career as an Engineer and progressed upwardly through the company and most recently held the position of St. Louis Geotechnical Group Leader. We’re confident Matt will lead the Overland Park team in a positive manner that will be beneficial for our clients and employees”, Ed Alizadeh, President and CEO stated during the announcement.

Mr. McQuality is a registered engineer in Kansas and Missouri and several other states. Matt is a member of the Deep Foundation Institute (DFI), the American Society of Civil Engineer (ASCE) and received the Partners in Education Certificate of Appreciation from Rockwood School District in 2011. Mr. McQuality graduated with his Masters in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering in 1993 from the same. Mr. McQuality has been the Project Manager for numerous geotechnical engineering assignments and forensic studies providing project design, construction observation, construction management and subsurface exploration.

My wife is from the Kansas City area and we are excited to be moving closer to her family. I have always enjoyed the Kansas City area, and I am sure my 3 boys will too.” stated Matt. Matt’s favorite activities include middle school track and field, and anything Boy Scout-related with his boys.

As Branch Manager of the Overland Park, Kansas office Matt will oversee the staff of 31 including geologists, professional engineers, scientists and field representatives, the office’s complete soils and materials testing, laboratories are accredited by nationally recognized accreditation programs, and drilling fleet. Geotechnology has been involved with numerous large scale, long-term projects such as the Kansas City Race Track, Argosy Hotel & Casino, and Blue Parkway Town Center.
