Tags: , ,

We are writing you today with exciting news. For more than four decades, Geotechnology, LLC; GSI Engineering; and Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc. have been leaders in the areas of construction observation and materials testing, special inspections, geotechnical and environmental engineering, exploration, geophysics, and deep foundation testing services. In 2021 Geotechnology, LLC and GSI Engineering, and then in 2023 Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc. were all acquired by UES, a national geotechnical engineering firm, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. In the coming weeks, Geotechnology, LLC; GSI Engineering; and Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc. will begin transitioning to the UES name and logo.

Even though our name and logo are changing, the exemplary service you are accustomed to receiving from Geotechnology, LLC; GSI Engineering; and Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc. will remain the same and you will continue to work with the same team members you have in the past. Our legal entity is not changing, so all ongoing project services will remain unchanged, except for the name and logo on our paperwork.  Our team of expert engineers and consultants are here to support our clients across the nation, and we are excited to move forward with this new name and brand identity. Together, we are one TeamUES!

If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please contact your local UES representative or branch location. To learn more about UES and our services, visit www.teamues.com.

Rebranding Client FAQs

  1. Why is Geotechnology, LLC; GSI Engineering; and Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc. changing their names to UES?

Geotechnology and GSI were acquired by UES in 2021 and Grubbs was acquired in 2023 and since then we have been operating as “Geotechnology, LLC/GSI Engineering/Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc.- A UES Company”. We are taking the next step in the rebranding process, and our plan is to operate solely as “UES” beginning in 2024, but before we make the full switch, we want to help our clients and vendors get to know the UES name. Therefore, we will be providing our clients various communications throughout the process to make this transition as easy and smooth as possible for everyone. This will help us to build the UES name and reputation in the markets where we operate. We will provide you with updates via email, social media and our website throughout the transition process.

  1. How will the rebranding affect the services we receive?

The rebranding process will not compromise the quality or availability of our services. Joining UES has enabled us to improve and expand our offerings, providing you with enhanced solutions and experiences. We are committed to delivering the same, if not better, level of value and satisfaction to our clients throughout this transition.

  1. Will there be any changes to our contracts or agreements?

The rebranding will not impact the terms and conditions of any existing contracts or agreements you have with us. All terms, obligations, and commitments will remain unchanged. Our legal team will ensure a smooth transition and address any concerns you may have to guarantee the continuity of our partnership.

  1. How will the rebranding affect our point of contact within the company?

The rebranding will not impact your point of contact within our company. Please continue to work with them as you have done in the past.

  1. How long will the rebranding process take?

Our goal it to rebrand fully to the UES name by January 2024. We do not expect any disruption to our services during this time. The only change you will notice is our name.

  1. Is your website address changing too?

Not at this time. The geotechnology.com, gsinetwork.com, and grubbsengineers.com websites will be operational until we are fully rebranded as UES. At that time, we will transition to the UES website and the current legacy company sites will redirect to the teamUES.com website.
