Overview:

Northern Kentucky University’s $34 million Student Union is located at the northwest corner of Grant and University Drives. The building was sited over the intersection, and Grant and University Drives are no longer through streets.

Northern Kentucky University Project Background

Our geotechnical services included collection and review of geotechnical site information for foundation design. In addition, our construction review and special inspections services included performing moisture-density testing of soils and drilled shaft review. We also oversaw sprayed-on fireproofing testing and welded and bolted structural steel review.
