Overview:
Through an on-call contract, Geotechnology, Inc. performed asbestos and lead-based paint (LBP) surveys on a bridge in Jefferson County, MO. The structure was slated for demolition and replacement.
These services consist of site surveys, material sampling of suspect asbestos containing materials (ACM). We also condust lead-based paint X-ray fluorescence (XRF) surveys and laboratory analysis of sampled materials.
Jefferson County Bridge Replacement Project Background
For this project, surveys were performed by a Missouri-licensed asbestos inspector. Additionally, surveys were conducted in conformance with the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs) and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR).
These projects are ongoing.
